PARCK - Partnership for Circular Municipalities

Municipalities play an important role in the transition to a resource-efficient society, where less material is used and more is recycled. This was the starting point for the Partnership for Circular Municipalities.

In 2017, a number of municipalities and waste companies, Roskilde University, Gate 21 and CONCITO joined forces in a partnership supported by the Capital Region to accelerate the circular transition in municipalities.

In the Partnership for Circular Municipalities, the partners have developed and implemented six pilot projects covering different areas such as construction, recycling, procurement, textiles and commercial waste.

The pilot projects have demonstrated the benefits and challenges of moving to a circular economy, and are good examples of how the green transition must be done collectively. Cooperation between municipalities, regions, waste management companies, businesses and knowledge institutions is crucial for implementing concrete initiatives, and we now have concrete experience that can be used to scale up circular initiatives in more municipalities and regions.

På denne side kan du blive klogere på erfaringerne fra de seks pilot-projekter i Partnerskab for Cirkulære Kommuner.
