Climate Barometer 2022

Since 2010, CONCITO's Climate Barometer has measured and analysed developments in Danes' knowledge, attitudes, and actions in relation to the climate challenge.

This year's report is a reminder to politicians and other decision-makers in society and businesses of their commitment to continue driving forward the green transformation of Danish society.

The survey shows that Danes are increasingly concerned about the state of the climate. The barometer also shows that Danes have clear expectations for action from decision-makers. Thus, the capacity of politicians to act on climate change will influence where voters will cast their ballots in the upcoming general elections.

The answers were collected between 12 July and 25 July 2022, and the survey was conducted using a web-based questionnaire. The sample was randomly drawn and stratified by gender, age, income, and geography (region) to reflect the composition of the population on these parameters.
