Are you the right person to support our work on deep global transition in energy, food and finance / investments? CONCITO is looking for a Senior Advisor with strong analytical skills and international experience in either energy, food, finance or economy to support CONCITO’s work on accelerating deep transition towards a net-zero/low carbon climate resilient and sustainable future for future generations and the planet.

Do you want to be part of a mission-driven think tank with high ambitions and committed colleagues? Are you motivated by creating knowledge, partnerships and projects focusing on the deep transition towards a net-zero and climate robust world?

We stand at the threshold of creating a World with immense opportunities to tackle our current crisis in climate, biodiversity and sustainable development in the Global North and the Global South. We have the knowledge, policies, technologies and finance available to decide on systemic change across borders and sectors to build a low-carbon, climate resilient and sustainable futures for all, and  action must be accelerated within this decade. Systemic change requires systemic thinking, learning and action across and above borders and sectoral domains. Solutions must furthermore be bio-centric to ensure balance with nature, and people oriented to ensure a fair and just transition. Our energy, food and finance systems are not fit for purpose, and short-term political interests subdue our long-term collective interests. We work to change this failure in politics and markets.

CONCITOs international strategy revolves around a three-pronged approach: (i) Build the visions and narrative for the attractive future, (ii) enable the deep transition in energy, food, finance and the cities where we live, and (iii) cocreate the ambition, data, tools, and platforms to catalyze (i) and (ii).

CONCITO is Denmark's green think tank. Our purpose is to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit the harmful effects of global warming. CONCITO means "I set in motion" in Latin, and that is what we want to do in the climate field. We are one of Denmark's largest green networks with more than 100 companies, researchers, organizations and individuals as members. We believe that climate policy goals can only be achieved through partnerships between politicians, business, and citizens - state, market, and civil society. That is why all sectors are represented in the think tank. We believe that climate problems must be solved internationally, but that Denmark and the Nordic region should take the lead.
